Providers pay for placement on AI Agent Duo, and some of our outbound links are affiliate links. Both are labelled. Payment never changes a rating, a verdict or the editorial order of a list. Member-submitted links are marked as user content. That is the whole model, and this page lists each part. Checked 31 October 2026.

The two sources of revenue

How it works

How it is marked

Paid placement

A provider pays for a listing tier or a sponsored slot

A “Sponsored” label on the slot

Affiliate links

A vendor pays us a commission if you sign up through our link

The link goes through /go/ and carries rel="sponsored nofollow"

We do not sell reviews, scores or verdicts. We do not take payment to remove a negative review.

Listing tiers

Providers can list on the site at four tiers: Free, Verified, Featured and Category sponsor. Verified is $19 per month, Featured $79 per hub per month and Category sponsor $199 per hub per month. The plan details are on the plans and sponsored slots page. A paid tier buys more visibility and a richer profile, not a better rating.

Sponsored slots

  • A hub shows at most three sponsored slots.
  • Each slot is labelled “Sponsored”.
  • A slot sits outside the editorial list. It never changes the order of the entries around it.
  • A slot that is not booked says so, instead of filling with a fake advert.

Affiliate links and /go/

When an entry has an affiliate URL, the “visit” button points to /go/<slug>/. That route logs the click and redirects to the affiliate URL, or to the vendor’s own website when there is no affiliate link. The link on the page is marked rel="sponsored nofollow", so search engines know it is paid.

We log the collection, the slug, the destination, the referring page, the country and the time of each click. We use it to see which listings help readers. The privacy policy has the detail.

What payment does not buy

  • A higher rating, or any rating at all.
  • A better position in an editorial list.
  • A softer verdict in a written comparison.
  • Removal of a review that follows the rules.
  • A claim we cannot support from a primary source.

Member links

Links that members submit, such as a project in a launch, carry rel="ugc". They are not paid and not editorial. See the submission rules.

Why we say this plainly

A directory is only useful if readers trust its order. If paying changed the order, a reader could not tell advice from advertising. So the rule is structural: paid things are labelled and kept apart, and the methodology is the same for everyone.

If you are a provider and want to advertise, see advertise. If you spot a link that should be labelled and is not, tell us through contact.
