Command A+

Command A+ is Cohere's newer model, released 2026-09-22, and OpenRouter lists it at $0.3 per million input tokens and $1.5 output with a 192,000-token context and text and image input. It is closed here, while the earlier Command A, released March 2025 at $2.50 and $10, is listed with open weights, so the new model is cheaper but less open. We would suggest it for teams already working with Cohere, and for comparison with other mid-priced closed models. The limit is that we did not confirm Cohere's data terms or deployment options on the pages we read, and the context is shorter than that of many peers at one million tokens. Prices and specifications come from the OpenRouter listing we checked on 31 October 2026, and we have not tested the model ourselves.
