Kilo Code is an MIT-licensed coding agent for VS Code and JetBrains with MCP support. Its pricing page on 31 October 2026 splits into three routes. The free route covers bring-your-own-key and local models with no hosted credit and a $0 monthly fee. Kilo Gateway is pay-as-you-go hosted inference at exact provider rates across more than 500 models, with no subscription. A credits subscription starts at Starter for $19 a month, which gives up to $26.60 in credits, and Pro at $49 for up to $68.60, with a 50 percent bonus on annual billing, and a Teams plan was listed at $15 per user a month. We would suggest it to people who want an editor agent and a choice between their own keys and a gateway. The limit is that three billing routes need a decision up front, and bonus credit rules deserve a read before buying. We have not used it ourselves.
