GLM 5.3

GLM 5.3 is an open-weights model from Z.ai, released 2026-08-18, with a 1,048,576-token context and text-only input. OpenRouter lists $0.104 per million input tokens and $2.769 output, which makes output about twenty-six times the cost of input, a wide gap that favours prompts over long generations. The licence in our data is open-weights without a standard name, while GLM 5.2 and the 5.3 Flash model are listed as MIT, so check the licence file for this one. We would suggest it for teams that want a large open model from Z.ai, and our GLM page covers licences, the Coding Plan and hardware. The limit is that a Flash variant costs far less for lighter work, and we have not tested it ourselves.
