Ralph for Claude Code is an autonomous development loop that keeps Claude Code working on a task until it detects that the work is done. The repository is frankbria/ralph-claude-code, credited to Frank Bria, under the MIT licence, with 9.7 thousand stars. The README says to clone the repository with git clone https://github.com/frankbria/ralph-claude-code.git and run ./install.sh, and it ships an uninstall script as well. We would suggest it for well-bounded tasks with tests that can say yes or no. Loops that run unattended can burn through a usage budget quickly, and the exit detection is a heuristic, so set limits before leaving it alone. Watch the first run in full. The name comes from a popular technique of looping an agent on one prompt, and this project adds structure to that idea. Last push 31 October 2026. We have not run it.
