Superpowers is a skills framework and software development method for coding agents, described by its maintainer as one that works. The repository is obra/superpowers, credited to Jesse Vincent, and it is MIT licensed. The README gives several routes, and the one for Claude Code is /plugin install superpowers@claude-plugins-official. Its 309.5 thousand stars are the project's own, since this is the main repository and not a subfolder of something larger. We would point people to it who want an agent to follow a fixed way of working instead of improvising each session. The cost is that a method imposes steps, so it will feel heavy on a one-line fix. Check the README for how the skills trigger before adopting it on a team. The last push we saw was on 29 October 2026, and we have not run it ourselves.
