Claude HUD is a Claude Code plugin that shows what the session is doing, including context usage, active tools, running agents and todo progress. It is MIT licensed, written by Jarrod Watts, and has 29.0 thousand stars. We think it is most useful on long sessions where context fills up without warning, because seeing the meter early helps you decide when to compact or start over. We have only read the documentation, not installed the plugin.
