Compiler Explorer, known as Godbolt, runs compilers interactively in the browser and shows the assembly, and this entry is its hosted MCP endpoint at godbolt.org/mcp over streamable HTTP, added with claude mcp add --transport http compiler-explorer https://godbolt.org/mcp. The licence is BSD 2-Clause, and the parent repository shows 19.2 thousand stars. We would suggest it to systems programmers and performance-minded developers who want an agent to compile a snippet, compare compilers or flags, and read the assembly while discussing optimisation. The main limit is that code you send goes to the public service, so do not paste proprietary source, and the available tools are those the endpoint offers, which we did not list. It is a niche but well-known project, and the repository was pushed on 31 October 2026. We have not run a session against it ourselves.
