Next AI Draw.io lets you draw and edit draw.io diagrams by chatting with a model, and it ships as a web app, a desktop app and an MCP server. This entry is the MCP server, installed with npx -y @next-ai-drawio/mcp-server over stdio. It is maintained by DayuanJiang, uses the Apache 2.0 licence, and shows 36.5 thousand stars, all on its own repository. The description lists Claude Code, Cursor, Codex and VS Code as clients. We would suggest it for architecture sketches and flow charts where you want to keep asking for changes in plain words. A diagram that comes from a model needs a human eye on it, since labels and arrows can be wrong without looking wrong. Compare it with the official draw.io server if you want the vendor's own route. Last push 31 October 2026, and we have not run it.
