Agent Device is an open source device layer for coding agents: a command line tool, an MCP server and a typed Node.js API that control mobile, web, TV and desktop apps on devices and simulators, locally or in the cloud. The registry install is npx -y agent-device over stdio. It is maintained by callstack, the licence is MIT, and the repository has 5.2 thousand stars. Our registry lists it twice under two publisher names, and this entry is one of them. The last push we saw was on 31 October 2026. We would suggest it to mobile developers who want an agent to run an app on a simulator and check what it renders. Driving real devices is slower than reading code, and cloud use may bring costs. We have not run it.
