AutoClip is an open source desktop tool that cuts long videos such as podcasts, interviews and courses into short clips, and generates subtitles, covers and publishing copy. The description targets Douyin, Xiaohongshu, TikTok, Reels and YouTube Shorts. This entry is its MCP server, installed with uvx autoclip-mcp over stdio. It is MIT licensed and kept by zhouxiaoka, and the repository shows 9.9 thousand stars. We would suggest it to creators who already repurpose long recordings and want an agent to drive the steps. Video work is heavy, so expect the desktop tool to do the processing on your machine. The repository text is partly in Chinese, which may slow down English readers. Last push 31 October 2026. We have not run a clip through it, and we cannot comment on output quality.
